Job: Web Developer (classic ASP, HTML, CSS, javascript & more)

We are looking for a new person to join the Co-operative Web team.
For those of you that have come straight to this job ad, let's do a little background on us. We are a workers co-op based in Longbridge, Birmingham - being a workers co-op means that the company is owned and controlled by the people who work here: this may go some way to explaining why we have table football and an arcade machine in the office! So, we are looking for someone special to fit into our little company (we are 11 people, and growing) & hopefully help steer us towards being the best we can be...
So - what do we need at the moment? We are looking for someone to work mainly on the content management side of the business. This means building sites for people, and helping fix bugs and other things on existing sites. We have a bespoke content management system written mainly in classic ASP (Javascript flavour). Obviously you'll need to be pretty good at ASP then, and at HTML, CSS, Javascript and all the other good stuff to make sites look and work well. Oh - and the database is all MS SQL, so that as well! On top of this someone who is open to a bit of dabbling in .NET and working with other technologies (and other Open Source CMS systems) would be fantastic.

You'll also get to know our clients pretty well, so hopefully you won't mind talking them through what they need and how we can do it. Friendly and personable then!
